- Hi !
-
- Just some dislikes/strange behaviours i found in aweb until now
- (besides that prob with the messed up pix):
-
- When i (history)-go back a page (with the "<-" gadget) it takes an eternity
- until the page appears on the screen again....for example get from
- aminet a sizy recent-file (50k ;) then read some file-description....go back..
- wait...wait...wait until this ridiculous 50k are back on the screen (from
- my ram where it's buffered....) (i have 030 and fastram...for what ?)
-
- Then..i don't like the hotkeys....why not just cursor-keys for going back
- instead of this stupid gadget or Amiga-B (or what it was)...why not
- Shift-cursor-down for a page down and some the like....
-
- Also....i miss very very much an internal protocol for news:// and ftp://
- and not that external shite there....ok..you might say "take a newsreader
- or a ftp-client for this"..... but i very much like alynx where i can do
- (most) things with one application also..means reading news over nntp,
- gopher, ftp and (ofcourse) http-browsing. If he'd implement this
- protocols also Aweb would be perfect ;) (ok..nearly ;)
